We were recently approached by Elphinstone Highschool to create a custom glass panel to place in front of the window in their library. We collaborated with the students who did an incredible job in sketching out what their final creation would look like.

Our studio interpreted their drawings and we were fortunate to collaborate with Sechelt Nation Artist Tony Paul to create the sun that hugs the valley of the horizon. This casting tested the size limits of our kiln, and our design ability in executing such a vast expanse in glass. We feel truly fortunate to have been able to add to the history of Elphinstone School and to give them such a spectacular piece of public art.
