This is another example of a client looking to create privacy for their dining room with-out sacrificing light. The deck of the neighbours house is only feet away on a home surrounded by trees located in Porpoise Bay on Sechelt Inlet.
The clients wanted to incorporate First Nations Art within the commissioned glass panels. We were told that Ravens were an important part of the environment where the house is situated.
We introduced the works of several First Nations artists and the clients really responded to Cory Douglas’ design of the Raven and the moon. The combination of North Coast and Coast Salish imagery is particularly well suited to this project as the image is surrounded by Cedar.
This work is constantly changing as the light is filtered through the surrounding trees.
